"All Things"

An adoptive mom who loves Christ, family, running, fitness, and all things health related.

We rang in 2012 with our best friends, Kate and Mark.  We had so much fun and loved it, duh.

Us in NYC.

We really enjoyed hanging out with everyone at the party.  Since everyone has adorable small children, just Beeker and I stayed to watch the ball drop and ring in the new year in Gilbertsville.  At twelve midnight, the four of us ran outside in our PJs, banging pots and pans and screaming.  We quickly realized that the only competition that we had in the neighborhood were little kids, haha.

Beeker and I slept over (on the most comfortable air mattress in the world), and Kate and I went for a New Years run this morning.  The weather was absolutely perfect and I could not think of a better way to start 2012!  I truly wish that Kate and I still lived next door to each other…we could go for runs, talk about the boys, and wave goodnight from our windows….a fairytale.  Maybe one day…..

When we got home we “de-Christmased” our house.  It looks so bare, but refreshing and clean.  I cannot wait to pull the decorations out again next year…hopefully with babies around!!!

Stats from today:

Workout: 2.62 glorious miles with my best friend  ❤

Breakfast: copious amounts of nuts (I really really want a nut cracker!), orange, sliced apple

Lunch: 1/2 chicken breast with red pepper, tomato, and parmesan cheese.  Sliced red potatoes and honeydew

Snack: applesauce, clementines, bananas (2 since they were baby bananas)

Dinner: Stuffed peppers (95% lean ground beef), broccoli, big salad with ff Italian.

Holy yum.
